Phandeeyar is accelerating the growth of tech startups in Myanmar and expanding the country’s pool of tech and creative talent.
Phandeeyar runs Myanmar’s first and only tech startup accelerator. We provide the country’s most promising startups with $25,000, six months of intensive lean startup coaching, over $200K worth of services from strategic partners, support from over 40 local and international mentors and access to a network of investors. Demo Day for Cohort 1 is in March 2017. For more information see here.
Founder Institute Yangon
Phandeeyar also runs a pre-accelerator program to help aspiring entrepreneurs make the leap from employee to startup founder. We use Silicon Valley’s most successful entrepreneurship program: Founder Institute. The first class of Founder Institute Yangon is currently in session. For more information see here.
Phandeeyar’s entrepreneurship program is supported, in part by USAID.
Phandeeyar is helping to build Myanmar’s maker community. We have a dedicated space with 3D printers, a CNC router, electronics equipment and lots of other hardware hacking tools. We run regular workshops, seminars and meetups to help Myanmar’s makers developer their design, prototyping and user testing skills.
Phandeeyar’s Makerspace is supported, in part, by USAID.
Tech & Creatives
Phandeeyar is actively helping to build the pool of tech and creative talent in Myanmar. We do this through technical workshops and seminars, meetups and major events such as hackathons and startup competitions. Check out our Facebook page for our latest activities.
