When you’re building a startup, one of the first things you have to think about is how you’re going to get the funds to run it. This leads to the question: how do you get the attention of investors? While each investor looks for different things in a startup (i.e. the right founders, the right team, the right product, the right right target market or business model), there are a number of things many investors do look for.
Knowing how to get funding for your startup is an essential skill every founder must possess, and it can be made a lot easier if you are aware of what it is that investors seek when evaluating their decision to invest in a startup. On Thursday, 6 July, Joao Dutra, an experienced entrepreneur and mentor from Netherlands joined Phandeeyar to teach aspiring entrepreneurs to think in the shoe of Investors. The event had nearly 50 people in attendance.
