The amazing graduation night of Founder Institute Yangon’s first ever cohort was organised at Phandeeyar on Friday, March 31 at 6pm. The program’s mentors, the special guests and founders with their friends participated to the graduation ceremony and total of 6 founders graduated from Founder Institute Yangon. The graduating student founders are:
Htet Aung Latt (Founder of Flexible Pass Pte Ltd)
Kay Khine Than Soe (Founder of iThrive Ltd)
Michael Maung (Founder of AQlick)
Poe Phyu Thae (Founder of Lapinta Tech)
Sai Won Seng (Founder of Konxt-Pro)
Tun Naung Win (Founder of Petunity Pte Ltd).
David Madden, Founder and CEO of Phandeeyar has opened the graduation ceremony with a welcome speech to the honour guests.
The Accelerator Director, Jes Kaliebe Petersen and one of the directors of Founder Institute Yangon, Ko Thar Htet, had shared how exciting it is to have the founders here at the graduation ceremony and congratulate them on their hard work that they have put in during the 14 weeks.
After the heartfelt speeches from the director, the six graduating founders has continued the tradition of Founder Institute and Pitches in front of the honorable guests about their company’s’ vision and plans.
After the pitches, we were joined by Stephen Haidenhain from USAID Washington and Steve Parker, the project director at Private Sector Development Authority to give out certificates to the founders.
The Founder Institute Yangon’s graduation night was wrapped up with cocktail party and taking group photos.
